Basic Swedish massage, let therapist know my problem areas to which nothing but the bog standard routine was done.
Scalp massage was like having a vigorous hair wash at a salon not a relaxing scalp massage.
No one to talk to about this after my treatment, no one to be seen after.

The staff were very helpful but the spa is very out dated and not particularly pleasant.
The changing rooms very old fashioned, no locker padlocks available so had to leave items in an unlocked locker, the toilets were unsatisfactory, mess on the floor and a broken toilet seat as well as a messy toilet.
We came on a day in the heatwave and the swimming pool area was so hot as glass roof there was no air and it was like an oven.

My friend and I enjoyed our morning. We arrived earlier than anticipated but the staff were not phased by that and we were given our towels etc and offered a drink. However there were a couple of disappointments. One being that sitting round the pool was unbearable as it was so hot it felt like sitting in a greenhouse. We did swim which helped, of course. However our treatments were first class. We couldn’t use outside facilities as there was a wedding. Afternoon tea was delicious
