I keep returning again and again to this salon. Although there are renovations happening, it does not affect the quality of the service. Lovely staff and lovely salon.
Really nice ambience and the treatment was great. Cheaper that other local places but with better environment! I will definitely be going back
I went to Skin and Tonic for a Deep Tissue massage and it was possibly one of the most stressful appointments I have ever had in a venue. There were multiple interruptions, including a builder wandering around the salon, the therapist leaving to get a chair and banging it off the table multiple times and inappropriate chatting the entire way through. I was promised a refund but after 4 weeks of making calls about when I can come and collect it, no one has returned my calls. Avoid.
Good overall. However, did not massage the back which is unusual in a deep tissue massage Staff accommodating and friendly Nice salon and clean
It looks promising at first glance, but when you actually get into the treatment room you notice the rundown details, with wax spots on the towel and coloration on the radiator. Several rooms were under refurbishment. The staff was nice enough, with the treatment room cleanly decorated. During the waxing session the staff went outside the room that was isolated by a curtain in place of a door, so exposing me with layers of wax for a brief moment of opening and closing the curtain. The layer of wax was so thick that it didn't dry fast enough before she started tugging at it, resulting in my part being swollen, red and sore after (I have done Hollywood waxing a couple of times before, and it never stings when I go to the loo!). The soothing gel burns like plain alcohol on fresh wound. Despite it being much cheaper than the place I normally go to, I would not go back again
