Overall I’m not very impressed with the gel manicure. This was my first time going here and the salon looks a bit dated but nothing to mark it down a star for. The person that did my nails didn’t speak to me too much which I’m ok with, but when she did, it didn’t come across very friendly like you’d expect when you go to a salon. The 2 stars are given for the nail prep, it was very thorough and I was really happy with this, but everything went downhill after that. Firstly the nail colour came out more of a peach colour than the beige colour on the board, but it was near enough so I wasn’t too fussed at the time. The application felt very rushed like they couldn’t wait to get me out as I was the last appointment of the day, so coverage isn’t great and it started chipping within a few days even though I take care of my nails. For the price paid you can get far better gel manicures in Manchester.
I’m really surprised by all the positive reviews, I won’t be returning.
Arrived on time there was already a small queue. Had to wait a couple of minutes before being greeted by staff. Once I confirmed I had a booking I was seen quickly.
Staff were lovely and listen to how I wanted my eyebrows shaping
