I was nervous to try somewhere brand new. I've curly hair and booked an appointment with Wayne based on other reviews. I was not disappointed. I've walked out with one of the best haircuts ever. He listened to what I said about my morning routine ( like everyone I'm short on time) and the result is a " wash and go" cut that looks great! I love it! And I recommend him and this salon.

This is a lovely salon - relaxed and calming. I had a my hair cut by Patricia. She gave excellent suggestions on how to tidy up a short haircut that I'm in the process of growing out. A lovely hair wash and blow dry too. This was a better experience than at the prominent 'chain' hairdressers in Teddington and Kingston, so if you've been walking past this salon on Teddington High Street and wondering about it, definitely give it a go. I booked the appointment using the Treatwell app, and was able to get a same-day appointment on a Saturday, which was convenient. A friend of mine said she was thinking about making an appointment here, so I'm about to text her to say her instincts were good!
I was tempted to try a haircut with Wayne at Shape Hair Design as both my husband and my 22 year old son have consistently had the best haircuts ever by Wayne at the salon. He took the trouble to assess the condition of my naturally curly hair before washing it and his advice has been transformative. Wayne started cutting my hair when it was dry and then completed the cut after washing. I have had two haircuts at the salon and I am delighted that the shape of the haircut has lasted much longer than expected. I'm really looking forward to my next haircut as Wayne's outstanding expertise and the calm, cleanliness of the salon makes the visit to Shape Hair design such an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
I cannot rate Wayne at Shape Hair Design highly enough. From start to finish the experience & service was outstanding. He is clearly very talented. I would definitely recommend this hair salon to friends & family.
I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Wayne at Shape. He is AMAZING! I have been to countless hair salons over the years. Most of these were well known ones based in central London and very expensive. Shape would give them all a run for their money. Wayne is clearly very experienced and well trained. He knew instinctively what haircut and colour suited me. The results are of his work are quite remarkable (I wish I could post before and after photos!) . I have never had so many positive comments on my hair from both men and women. I would give Wayne and his salon the highest possible rating.
