I booked a shellac mani-pedi deal for 48£, as soon as I arrived the lady sitting by the entrance took a look at my hands and said - “Ah you have shellac on and you didn’t book a removal session, we won’t be able to give you the entire treatment you will have to choose between a mani or a pedi”. I was surprised by her tone and how she barely took the time to say hello, it felt also like an automated answer. Moreover, I was surprised that she didn’t give me any other option but had a ready-made solution that obviously was not perfect at all for me - paying 48pounds for an average shellac manicure is definitely overpriced. I understand that removing shellac is time consuming but I would have expected for her to 1) reimburse a part or give me a voucher for a next time as 48pounds for removal and shellac manicure is way too much 2) offer to reschedule . She didn’t do any of that - I will surely not return to this saloon ever again.
