This is a really great salon which has become a new favourite for me. The gel manicure generally lasts at least 3 weeks. Their catalogue of nail art is also pretty inspiring, I go for something pretty conservative in comparison (negative space) but love how it is a bit different to a usual manicure.

Upon arrival, I got told that there wont be enough time to do full manicure that I booked in for due to having a stronger product on my nails as it took longer time to take it off, which was fine and understandible but the way it was approached by one of the staff was somewhat rude and unwelcoming. In the end however the whole tratement was finished 15 minutes earlier than it was supposed to. A couple of days after gel varnish started to chip and crack. Overall, would come back for a quick fix but wont be first choice of place.

My toenails look lovely after my pedicure but it wasn’t the best experience I’ve had at Selfish. It hurt when she pushed back my cuticles (too rough) and she kept catching the nail on my big toe which was annoying. Also usually they do a foot massage at the end which didn’t happen :(
