I've just been for my second visit to Selfish Shoreditch. I was looking forward to a relaxing pamper before my holiday, but didn't have the best experience this time, sadly. My nails now look great (as they did last time I went) and the place itself is nice, so I can't fault those areas. But the 'customer service' was quite strange this time. Apparently, my cuticles were in a bad condition and needed a lot of work. I was promptly told that I should've booked a longer manicure session and felt a bit like a naughty, chastised child throughout. The girl made it pretty clear she wasn't very happy .. perhaps because my job took more time than was allocated... I don't know. Either way, I've had my nails done loads of times and noone has ever made a fuss before about my terrible cuticles ;))...was all just a bit weird. So, overall, the nails look great but the experience was not. Shame!
