I didn't find the seats very comfortable. It is very clean but not the most relaxing atmosphere. The finish on my pedicure wasn't great and I had to clean some of the edges.
Upon first visiting Selfish, I was warmly greeted and offered a hot drink and water, the girls were very attentive, personable and friendly and did a lovely job of my manicure. I signed up for their membership as it seemed like a great place.
I've since been there twice. During my second visit, I wasn't quite as warmly greeted, was not offered any beverage and the lady doing my nails was quite off; however again did a beautiful job on my nails.
The last time I visited, I'm feeling a little disappointed with the value for money & feel a little misold on the membership. Upon arriving I again was not offered any kind of beverage (which you guys pride yourselves on doing on your website). Throughout my manicure, the member of staff working on my nails gave me the feeling that I was abit of a burden. I think she was joking, but at least three times she said 'you're a nightmare today'. Joke or no joke; this made me feel quite uncomfortable and it seemed quite unprofessional. I did not know this woman on a personal level so it seemed abit inappropriate to make jokes like this... The end result of my nails was quite a sloppy job, there's a hair stuck in one nail, the shellac isn't very smooth (lumpy and bumpy on some nails) and not even. I'm a little disappointed with the last two times I've been to Selfish; but hoping next time it'll resemble my first wonderful visit to Selfish.
