I had a haircut with Scissorhands booked through treatwell a few months ago. I’m really not fussy, just want a basic cut and blow dry. Man cutting my hair was incredibly rude, did not understand curly hair at all and his hands stank of cigarettes. Had my hair washed which was fine, sat around for ages while he ignored me then he started blow drying my hair without asking me if I want a wet or dry cut. Who even does a dry cut on curly hair, that’s never happened to me before? I went with it because I figured he knew what he was doing but then he did what you never do with curly hair and started brushing it out. At this point I asked him to stop and wet it again before cutting it. He argued with me ‘most customers want it like this’ etc etc and made some condescending comments about my hair. Eventually he agreed but the rest of the experience was tense and weird. The end result was okay but the experience was very poor. Never going back.

Great staff, treatment and products. Ambience needs improvement, chair too firm.

One of the best hair cuts I have had, managed to translate my vague instructions into a cut I love which shows good experience and talent. I had VERY long hair and wanted to go long bob and he went in two steps so if I changed my mind it would be ok. Went to just below collarbone and looks amazing, thanks for a great job.
