This was the worst hairdresser experience I have had. I have been to View Beauty Lounge before and it was ok but it looks like it has been taken over by different people. I had a phone call 20 minutes before my appointment asking if I could come in a little earlier, I told the lady that it takes me 20 minutes to walk to the hairdressers but will try my best to get there earlier than my appointment time. I rushed to get there and arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. When I arrived I was instantly taken to have my hair washed, I was not even asked my name. I was not offered to have my jacket hung up, I asked what I should do with it but was told to sit down. My jacket ended up on the floor. No tea or coffee was offered. The atmosphere was bad, the lady washing my hair hardly spoke 2 words to me. It was the quickest hair wash ever and I was not offered hair serum. Afterwards, I was told to move to the hair cutting chair. Still no offer was made to hang my jacket up, I asked what I should do with it and the hairdresser grabbed it and threw it to the side. The hairdresser then brushed my hair very hard, he hit my head with the brush every stroke, he then asked how I wanted my hair cut, I said I just needed a trim and asked for about an inch to be taken off. He cut a small amount off the length and did not even ask about my layers. It seamed like it was being rushed and they just wanted me out of the door. The lady then came over to dry it, the blow dry was actually not bad although it felt like she was trying to pull my head off and my neck was strained as she was pulling my hair. The atmosphere was still very bad and still hardly any words were spoken. After she had dried my hair the hairdresser came back over to check my hair, he cut a few random strands, he didn’t really check it and didn’t seam to know what he was doing. I was asked if I was happy, I was in too much shock to what had happened and I just wanted to leave so I did say ‘yes’, and I didn’t want my hair touched by the hairdresser any more. I was handed my jacket and was told to have a nice day. I was in the hairdressers for a total of 22 minutes. I will not be returning.
