The salon is well laid out, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The waxing therapist took great care and was extremely thorough. I would recommend.
After not cutting my hair for over a year i decided to go for a complete re style (nervously) The cut was very good, i have fine hair so i am fussy in how its cut! but i can now style my hair and actually looks soo much better! The salon is very nice and staff are very welcoming.
I had a keratin treatment here a week ago. It was just okay. First the good: The staff are nice, fairly knowledgeable, and not trying to sell you anything. They definitely didn't just tell you wanted to hear. I have fine somewhat limp hair, and wanted the treatment to tame frizz rather than straighten. I was worried about losing volume, and the stylist told me that in all honesty for the first week it would be limp and I may want to tie it back while I waited for a bit of wave to resurface. Fortunately this turned out to not be true and my hair was not very limp at all. Also, they didn't push for me to buy my shampoo there. Which I would have, if they had it in stock, but they didn't. Although they did lack some of the extra special touches that higher end salons have, there was no head massage at the sink, and when it was over she didn't give me a mirror so I could see that back, I ended up doing I quick crane around when I stood up (which nobody took as a hint). Unfortunately there is some bad news: They told me that the Keratin treatment is a Brazilian brand they came to on recommendation. Unfortunately the name doesn't come up on Google, so you can't research it first or get reviews, you just have to take their word that 'It works really well!". However for me, it didn't. On the bright side my hair hasn't lost volume or gone limp, on the down side IT DID NOTHING. There were slight results for the first couple of days, and hair was a bit less frizzy. However it's only been five days since the treatment, and it's back to normal -- Completely normal. It is definitely frizzy again, the wave is back, and I wouldn't say it's much softer. And yes, I've only used sulphate free shampoo (Moroccan Oil) This is my first experience with Keratin Treatment, so I don't have others to compare to. Possibly it's just my hair that doesn't work with the treatment. However that seems unlikely, I have, really, very normal hair. It's fine, typically has a bit of lift, but can struggle with limpness, and is bottom of my shoulder blades long. However it frizzes, not more than most hair, not extreme curly hair frizz, but I wanted it dealt with, and I wanted the silky smooth Brazilian Blowout look. I didn't get it. Granted it is good value at 60 quid, but not if it doesn't work. Which it doesn't seem that this formula they use does. It could be a good salon, at good value, but I would waste the your time or money until they either need to get a better formula, or rectify any issues they may have in application.

I went to Salon House for a Brazilian wax. The salon was nice and clean. I also gave them a five star as the therapist Marion was lovely, friendly and professional. Good value for money. I would recommend.
It was quite good for the price. The waxing was not painful in the slightest, but I also do not think it was as effective, as hair growth started much more quickly than when I get strip or sugaring done. It also took longer than what I am used to -- my waxer in New York has me in and out in 15 minutes. The room and spa was very nice, however, it was a bit odd to get a full bikini wax in the same room, on the same table, as someone who would get a facial (more odd for the person getting the facial, not the wax)! I would go back though.
