I booked a wash and blow dry because I didn’t have the time to do it myself. I have very thick hair and when it’s washed correctly I can leave it for an entire week without re-washing. I told the lady that it needed a really good clean 3 times but it was probably the worst wash I’ve ever had. Very quick, very light touch and not thorough. I’m used to having a proper intense scalp massage when my hair is washed and that’s probably the thing I look forward to most when getting it done in a salon - and the reason I’d pay instead of just doing it myself. I’m also used to a lot of conditioner due to the thickness and dryness of my hair, but again, it was just a quick dash and a light scrub. Another customer in the salon started getting hers washed about 15 mins before me and was still getting hers washed after I was done? I’m not sure if they take less care with ‘treatwell’ customers but it was a disappointment. The blow dry was fine, and she did take a lot of time to straighten it but there’s no point if my hair still felt dirty underneath. Style over substance I’d say. The waxing was ok, but a lot more painful than my usual place. I wouldn’t recommend.
