Originally thought it was a really good pedicure, she removed all dead skin off my feet and used the full hour to massage and everything. However, after just 3 days 3 of my toenails have peeled off - not chipped , literally the whole nail paint has come off. It's a shame as the two ladies were absolutely lovely and so accommodating - I got lost and they still validated my appointment and took me in! However, they did say they did mostly waxing and very little nails so perhaps that's why. Would definitely go back to the salon but probably for a wax and not for a pedicure!
What took me by surprise:
- my appointment was rescheduled by the salon - fine - but when I arrived at the rescheduled time I was asked to wait for 15 minutes by the person who was going to be doing the pedicure as she said she was on her lunch break
- the treatment took place in the waiting room where others (both male and female) were waiting
- the express pedicure is just a soak of your feet in hot water, a bit of cuticle work and painting your nails - I would usually expect some exfoliation of feet in a pedicure
- I went into an empty treatment room to change beforehand and it hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant
That said, the staff were friendly and I didn't pay a lot.
