The worst wax I have ever had.
I had a 5.15 appointment, arrived on time and was told my appointment was at 5? Not sure if there was a mixup with the treatwell calendar and their appointment system. Apparently they tried to contact me but had the wrong contact number for me. She also didn't believe that I had paid already as it wasn't on their system !
Didn't believe any of this but it was fine. She said she can still see to me.
The waxing room was fine, a bit too warm but it was chilly outside so I didn't mind as much.
As for the actual waxing experience ? Terrible.
I was left with extremely sore skin for a whole day after my wax. Her technique was poor, applying the wax to large areas of skin at a time, and then pulling and tugging violently to get it off! I will never be going back. To top it all off she told me that the price I paid on treatwell (£34) was too high and was trying to get me take advantage of their current 'offer' of buying bulk waxes at a discounted price!
After all this, I was left with wax residue which she passed me a flimsy piece of tissue to wipe off myself, & lots of hair leftover.
I wouldn't recommend getting a Hollywood wax or any sort of wax here. Ever.
