i bought a voucher 3 waxes for around as it seemed good value
i booked first time round via an online booking system - fine
however when i turned up the secretory was inattentive and unfriendly, it seemed her and the waxist where the only ones there. she informed me unapologetically that they were running late and that they would have to down grade me from a Brazilian wax to a bikini as they had a client after me!!!
the wax itself (or what was done) was ok, her technique bit more painful than what im used to but the waxist was sweet and chatty
i tried to book my second appointment but they seemed to have removed the online booking system. so i called. i had to ring 3 times until they booked up. once i got through in the end the Secretary brusquely told me i had to book my appointment via email. so immediately i emailed them but they did not respond. so i once again had to call them up explain my situation and only then was i able to book my second appointment.
what i thought would have been a good deal 3 waxs for 30 turned out to be such a hassle and time consuming operation. the salon is disorganized and the receptionist is rude and unhelpful. would not recommend this salon. very dissapointed
I have been having waxing for the past few years and I have never been to one as painless as it was at Kumari. The lady took no longer than 7-8 for a Hollywood. I was very impressed and happy and definitely returning there.
I had a brazilian wax here and it is the best i have had in years. the therapist used hot wax and explained that the wax needs to be left to go cold on the skin before you pull it off that way you get the roots out, its now been three weeks now and still no regrowth at all amazing! The pain wasnt to bad compared to other places I have been to and the therapist was lovely and put me at ease and she went over the entire area with tweezers follwoing the waxing. I will deifinately be going back for this treatment and definately recommendig this palce.
This was the best Hollywood wax I've ever had. I felt very comfortable, and the treatment was fast, painless and thorough.
It can be a bit difficult to find the place as it's down a stairwell in the middle of the sidewalk, like the entrance to a subway station.
Really impressed with this place - very easy to make an appointment, they took me on time & the therapist Ami was brilliant - really thorough waxing. Highly recommended.
