Nice place on Rosebery Avenue. Facilities are maybe a bit run down, but treatment was spot on. Will definitely go back.

DO NOT HAVE ANY WAXING DONE HERE! Years ago, I was a "member" as it was close to work and had a few massages here. I remembered it being okay, so when I saw a groupon voucher for a Brazilian wax just after my usual therapist from my usual location moved away, I thought I'd give it a go. HUGE mistake. The treatment room was damp and dingy. I had to ask for a towel as there was nothing laid out on the treatment bed. The towel I was then provided with was stained and damp. There were no baby wipes or anything out like most places would have. The therapist used the same stick throughout the process, which I only noticed towards the end. I've been waxing for years and it was never this painful before. When I got home, I noticed that I had been bleeding and my skin was a mess. I tried to put my usual after-wax creams on, but it burned so badly that I had to soak the area in lukewarm water with camomile in it. Within a few days, my skin was still in really bad shape and I had to go see my GP. I had to be treated with antibiotics for the pretty severe infection I had as a result of this dirty, unprofessional treatment I had. When I emailed Rosebery Rooms to complain, I was sent a holding reply and had to chase them several times to receive some form of reply. They didn't acknowledge the severity of the situation at all and offered me a free massage after "my next wax". Stay well away from this place. It's an absolute dive.
I will not visit this salon again for the following reasons:
1.) Five minutes before my evening wax appointment, as I was making my way there, I received a voicemail to inform me that the power had failed in the salon and they were closed. I called them straight away as I was going on holiday about 36 hours later and really needed to re-book. I left a voicemail but did not hear back for over three hours. Though these things happen, at no time over the phone or in person when I arrived for my rescheduled appointment, did I receive an apology. I was not impressed with this level of customer service.
2.) Upon arrival at the salon the following day, I was greeted with not much more than a grunt. Then it seemed that my allocated therapist was late so the lady on reception brought me into a tired looking room and unceremoniously asked me to take everything off and to lie at the bottom of the bed with my legs hanging off the end, or akimbo. What followed was what can only be described as an unconventional approach to waxing. A large area was covered in a lot of hot wax and ripping it all out in one big pull. This was followed by strenuous use of strip wax around the edges. Though this was probably not a huge amount more painful, it felt amateur and resulted in lots of leftover hairs here and there. I did not push the issue as I was keen to get out!
3.) The two things above are just about forgivable given the price I paid for the wax BUT I was dismayed to find, once I’d arrived in resort for my holiday, that I was burnt on either side of my bikini line. It looked like I had been scalded. This was embarrassing enough as I lay on the sun lounger but imagine how I felt when this area began to peel a couple of days later.
I would encourage Treatwell users to visit other salons in the area which will provide a much better service at a similar price – and will not leave you burnt before you’ve even got into your swimsuit!
Great Service! I would highly recommend using Treatwell for great discounts. The therapists are Rosebery rooms are friendly, quick and the service is amazing.

I really like this little salon - not just because its 2 mins from my office ! The therapist I had was lovely - she did a lovely eyebrow treatment / tint & I was very happy with the results - will definitely go back again
