This was the best spa visit I have had for ages. The staff were pleasant, the facilities were AMAZING. It was very relaxing and the treatment we received was at the best standard. I would !00% recommend it and have already booked my next visit!!
Quiet location, no problem parking, very tranquil atmosphere, pleasant welcome, informative tour. Treatment rooms well laid out, general temperature comfortable, changing rooms small but well equiped. Great shower with Elemis shower, shampoo supplied. Hair dryer & straighteners for those requiring them. Steps to reasonably sized pool fairly steep and I was warned they could be slippery when wet. Pool overhead sprays very invigorating, with usual underwater jets. My first encounter with an Infra red sauna and I found I preferred it to the more usual type it was however quite small but as there were only a couple of other ladies there it wasn't a problem. Plenty of loungers & chairs. My treatments were lovely, I was consulted on whether I preferred a firm massage pressure, the table well designed and when reclined for my facial my legs were elevated so that there was less stress on my lower back. The lotions used through-out were pleasantly scented and not overwhelming unlike other spa's I have visited. Also it was pleasant surprise not to have the usual "hard sell" I was asked if I would like to be shown the products used but didn't feel pressured into doing so. My greek salad was delicious, and there were several other choices on the menu that were most tempting. I am already planning another visit when if the weather is nicer I look forward to trying the outdoor jaccuzi.
I would say the Rookery is a really relaxing and comfortable spa day, the staff couldnt do enough, the Jacuzzi in the garden was lovely, the fact that it rained, it didnt matter (didnt matter one bit) and we felt like we had had a massage in the hydropool. From start to finnish. Fab day. Looking to plan a stay over for our next visit, so we can all have a glass of wine. Try the Chicken Ceasar Salad. Really good........
A lovely day and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a lot of facilities though, could do with a sauna/steam room as not that much to do between treatments. Very relaxing atmosphere and everything was very clean and looked new.
We had a FANTASTIC Spa day once again at Rookery Manor Spa the staff are wonderful and the facilities are amazing a truley relaxing day which i would would highly recommend to everyone!!
