Great value for money on a special offer day. I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price however as the pool was a very small splash pool and quite cold. The hot tub was outside and it was cold getting in and out with no where really to put your towel or robe. It would have been ice to have an endless supply of clean towel and robes as it is not nice sitting in a wet robe at lunchtime.
It was the most relaxing day I spent in a long time,the staff was welcoming,helpful,good manners,they could not do enough for you,the meal included in the package was excellent,we had a wide choice,the people around us were very pleasant to talk to,i would recommend the rookery spa to anyone who wants a relaxing and peaceful time,and that's what you get,we are all going again,it was my sisters 50 th birthday treat,wonderful.
We had a very comfortable stay, the beds were very comfortable, the room clean, lovely elemis toiletries. The grounds were very well kept, a little tacky - lots of locations for wedding photos, but very attractive. The weather was dire, rain and wind but there was a covered walkway to our room. The spa was disappointing, the pool was a small hydrotherapy pool and cold, the sauna was a small cubicle, we were only able to have one treatment but there were treatment rooms which were empty, could have had more therapists. Treatment was nice but not really good; gym was well equipped and open 24 hours. Lunch and bar service excellent. We had a last minute deal and it was extraordinarily good value. I would stay again.
Fantastic stay, lovely facilities and really friendly staff. Also really good value for money, for a chance to wind down, we couldn't recommend more
Room was excellent.
Spa facilities poor...(worlds smallest sauna and practically useless)
Hydro Pool was cold and uncomfortable.
Massage excellent.
Food was amazing.....!
Overall...descent stay....though pay the extra and have proper facilities elsewhere...!
