I purchased the one-hour Dermalogica deep cleansing facial, the girl who did it was really nice - she explained the steps she was taking and what products she was using on my skin and why. I think I agree with one of the reviews below, I would have liked there to be some sort of extraction though.
I did feel really relaxed when I was having it done and my skin felt amazing afterwards (and lasted through to the day after). I'm not someone who cares 100% about the room being posh, but for those who want a really posh looking treatment room this probably isn't the place for you (it is still really clean and does the job).
Overall, I was very happy with my facial and would probably return for another one.
I was warmely welcomed by the very nice staff.
The facial was great and the products smelled very good. The therapist really knew what she was talking about. The only thing I would have liked was something like eyebrow plugging.
But overall very satisfied!
Classic Facials
I purchased the one-hour Dermalogica deep cleansing facial. I was expecting some level of extraction, but did not get any. The treatment involved cleansing, skin analysis, application of various kinds of masks suited for my skin, and then a face massage. I loved the face massage the best.
I am not a person who's too concerned about the ambience. But in short, I think that I could probably doze off during the treatment if I wanted to. There's not that much noise from the other offices as other reviews mention.
The therapist did not explain each step of the treatment nor told me what products she was going to apply. She only showed me the products when I asked her at the end of the treatment. I felt that the way she handled my face was a bit rough, and some of the products was still left on my hair and on the sides of my nose. But she's a really nice and funny person to talk to, especially when she had to fill in this questionnaire before I could begin the treatment.
I think this is probably a decent place to freshen up for the price and the convenient location (I didn't have problems finding the building). But if you're in need of a real good cleanse, you're probably better headed off somewhere else.
My husband went for the facial and he was very pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. The therapist did however have some difficulty massaging his face because of his thick beard stubble. But all in all he enjoyed it and wants to go again.

I really enjoyed this facial! The therapist was very well informed, she really knew what she was talking about. She gave me some good advice on how to care for my skin. The facial itself was also very good. I had read in reviews that the place was hard to find and it was! Make sure you give yourself 10 minutes extra to find it. It's worth it though!
