A really lovely spa day. The steam room and foot jacuzzis were out of order when we went, but enjoyed the pool, main jacuzzi and sauna. We had to wait two hours later for lunch than we'd booked because of a mix up in the kitchen which wasn't ideal but they brought us some salads to tide us over. Overall a really nice day, didn't feel rushed out and loved the treatments.
The spa itself is ok. Nice but pretty basic. Some of the facilities weren’t working properly such as the ceiling shower in the pool and the foot baths. I booked for the ultimate experience massage and facial with my friend for her birthday. I didn’t get told or asked what kind of massage would be having. Mine was pretty vigorous but good. I felt relaxed after the facial. However as we came out the beautician commented on my “problem skin” that I should go to see a doctor for hormonal problems and try changing my diet. I felt self conscious and a bit upset. I didn’t ask for this type of advice I just wanted to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a friend. Dissappointed.
