Lovely facilities, staff were really welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. We had a lovely relaxing day. However, I was a bit disappointed with the lunch, as we had to wait 20 mins for our table and a further 15 mins for the food, even though we'd had to pre-book a timeslot and pre-order our food 24 hours in advance.
50 minute facial was exquisite! And
afternoon tea was just the best!
Hairdresser on site too so able to get a blow dry afterwards!
The staff were very friendly and professional. The facilities were excellent and it was a lot nicer than some of the other spas I’ve been to. Treatment was okay, but I’m not sure whether the facial a friend and I had was worth its price; just a lot of creams used. Afternoon tea was lovely but a bit OTT, less is more sometimes in terms of sandwich flavours. Scones and desserts were perfect. They were very accommodating however to my friend, who requested a vegetarian option.
The whole place was actually quite cold . The changing rooms were pretty small and cramped having to wait to access your locker for quite a while because people are sitting in front of them. The treatment was ok very nice lady but nothing special . Luch was lovely but the area fenced off for lunch was not warm at all .very draughty ...Everywhere was full really so was it a relaxing experience . No ! Very disappointing.
