The experience on the day of the appointment was great. The lady who did my nails was friendly and very thorough, a bit of a perfectionist which is good to see. She also let me test a few colours when I wasn't sure what to choose. Once my nails were done they looked very smart in terms of shape and paint.
However after three days, the paint on two of my nails started coming off, which is why I've had to give the treatment an overall lower rating. I was very disappointed as I had treated myself to full shellac manicure which is not cheap, and I had got them done on a Tuesday evening especially for a wedding on the Saturday, by which point they were looking rubbish. I hadn't done anything out of the ordinary to cause them to peel; usually when I have had shellac manicures elsewhere the paint has stayed put for at least two weeks.
In the salon's defense they did say they could re-paint my 2 nails, however there wasn't a free slot available before I was due to travel to the wedding so I didn't return.
So a nice experience on the day, however I would be tempted to return to my regular salon in future as it's both cheaper and reliable.
I came earlier than expected and the lady that greeted me ( a French Lady- sorry I cant remember her name) was very welcoming. my appointment ended up being delayed for some minutes but she did let me know in advance and apologised for it. She was also the one performing the treatment and she was very nice, bubbly which is appreciated when you are doing something like a Hollywood wax! The treatment itself was executed perfectly. Recommend!
