I had a truly horrible experience here with my Hollywood wax. I had a different waxer than previously (Adelina is very swift and thorough) and after two pulls I asked her if this is the hot wax they normally use for Hollywood as it looked and felt very different to what had been used on me previously. What she was using looked like the wax used on me for facial waxing in the past and this new waxer had just used on my eyebrows and upper lip as well.
She said it was the same and continued but I told her I could not proceed with the full Hollywood as it was much too painful and I had not experienced this before, and felt the wax and her technique of sticking toilet paper to the wax and then pulling it off quite slowly was causing this pain. My skin was red and visibly swollen for the next 36 hours. I also had a full leg wax done and the amount of wax still left on my legs was shocking (I took photos). I was very disappointed and will not be visiting this salon again. A shame as I had good experiences here with Adelina.

Not a good experience at all. I thought I would be about 5 mins late so tried to be courteous and called ahead. The girl on the other end of the phone was rude, curt, and just told me to get there as they book back to back and I would miss my slot. Fair enough, but not a word of thanks. I ended up being right on time, but was rushed through, and that set the tone fit the whole appointment. This was by far the most painful wax I have ever had. So much so I had to ask the therapist (not sure of her name) to stop. The therapist was young, and possibly inexperienced, and seemed to find it amusing that I was in such pain. It was awful. The wax itself was good, and she focused on removing small or ingrown hairs etc, but the overall experience was not really unpleasant.
