A friend told me that they had had a good experience at Pierre Alexandre, so when I saw that they were offering 50% off haircuts, I decided to book an appointment.
When booking the appointment through Treatwell, an error ocurred, meaning I had to contact the salon in order to change the appointment to the correct day/time. The person I spoke to on the phone said that everything was fine, but when I called for peace of mind the next day, I was told that it hadn't been moved, but it would be done there and then.
I arrived in plently of time for my 3pm appointment, and was asked to sit in the waiting area, and my stylist didn't actually let me know that she was ready until about 3.20. I wasn't at any point informed that there was a bit of a delay, and during the time I was waiting, nobody offered to take my coat, or to to make me a drink.
When the stylist finally came over, without introducing herself, there was no apology or explanation as to why I had to wait 20 minutes.
When I was seated, the whole appointment felt very rushed, and even though I had a simple cut, I wasn't asked how I wanted it blow dried.
I would not be happy about paying full price considering the service received, and won't be returning again, even if there is a 50% off offer.
