Had to wait 15 minutes before I was seen and felt a little rushed (had booked for one hour and they spent about 30 min), but the cut was okay and blow-dry good.
The saloon was very helpful when I arrived and it was discovered that they did not do the Wella ColourBlow Dry as was the Treatwell Special I had booked. It took some time for the hairdresser to work out what would be possible close to what I had book and come up with an alternative. This is great care and attention shown by the hairdresser and salon and the fun pop of colour for a festival worked was, while not the intended option as booked and desired (Treatwells error), was pretty.
The staff were completely disinterested when I arrived, they simply pointed to the waiting area and told me to sit down. They did not offer to take my coat until I was ushered over to the cutting area. I had the cutting gown draped on me, I had to suss out how to tie it myself. Half of my forehead got soaked while they were washing my hair (I was going out that evening and had to re-do my makeup because I'd been splashed and had half my foundation washed away!). When I sat down to get my hair cut there was the majority of the hair from the previous client still all over the floor and table as well as still wedged in the scissors. Very untidy and unhygienic.
Overall the cut was good but the ambience and end to end experience left a lot to be desired.
Awful. Receptionist was rude at told me I wasn't booked it at my confirmed time, she didn't care that I had confirmation email on my phone and kept speaking over me, as did another man in the salon. horrible staff, horrible experience. I left in tears.
I went to Trevor Sorbie the following day, who were SUBERB, friendly and professional. Pierre Alexandre could learn a lot from Trevor Sorbie who know how to make their clients feel good.
