This is my third visit and will be my last which is a shame because I am happy with my hair colour and cut. My two most recent visits with same colourist were pleasant in terms of the consultation and treatment but half way through she seemed bored and careless, very heavy handed and almost burned my ear with the hairdryer because she was gazing out of the window. On both occasions when it came to paying for the treatment I was quoted a price almost double that I booked in for. I explained I had booked a last minute appointment and showed the confirmation email with the correct price. After an eye roll and a few checks which left me embarrassed she agreed to the price but insisted on an extra £5 'long hair charge'. My hair is shoulder length and I had an inch trimmed off to keep it healthy. I have never been charged for having long hair even when my hair was twice its current length. I suspect this is her way off getting tips and regret not questioning this at the time but had already been made to feel embarrassed. Again, this is a shame because my hair feels great and the other girls seemed very professional.
