Sam King has been a full-time professional pole dancer and aerialist for 10 years. In that time he has performed at a range of shows nationally and internationally for celebrities including Kate Moss and Simon Cowell. He has also won a number of elite-level pole dance competitions including Mr Pole Fitness UK (2020,2016), and the UK Professional Pole championship (2018). He is a world-renowned ole dance instructor, teaching regular classes at Ecole de Pole London, and workshops internationally. Safe to say, he knows the effect an injury can have on an aerialist, whether they are a hobbyist or a professional, he is here to help you overcome your pain and injuries!
Bethany Shum is a chartered physiotherapist (HCPC, MCSP) who is passionate about performing arts and artistic sports. She has personal and professional experience working with gymnasts, aerialists, and cheerleaders. This includes her work with Team England ParaCheer (2019) and Gymnastic Commonwealth Games 2022. She completed the specialist UCL Performing Arts Medicine Programme to enhance her skills when working with elite performers and provided specialist health services to this population. Her dissertation "Explored pain in Acrobats" has won the Mike Shipley Award for excellence in MSc Research. In her physiotherapy work, treats individuals with chronic pain conditions, musculoskeletal Injuries and rheumatological conditions with a holistic approach!
