I really did not enjoy my massage. Just because it is a deep tissue massage does not mean it can't be relaxing. The masseuse prodded at high-speed which made me feel VERY stressed, which is the exact opposite reason for going for a massage. When I tried to explain what I wanted, she did not understand me because her English was not very good.
I have been coming here for a while and come on a regular basis (every 3-4 weeks for a deep tissue massage). I used to always have a great massage but I have noticed that they have employed new people who don't speak very good English.
I find it is now pot luck whether I will have a decent massage. I was very deterred from this a little while back, but was absolutely delighted when on Treatwell, you could pick your masseuse! However, on this occasion, they changed my masseuse with no reasoning and when I asked about it afterwards they were very dismissive and tried to get me to book directly – which meant I could ensure who I had. I understand that salons get charged that I book through Treatwell but there is a reason I use this service. It's convenient as I can pay by card and also can choose easily which appointment time I would like.
I am now thinking it is probably worth to pay a little more extra elsewhere to ensure that I know I would get a good massage.
