Really enjoyed my massage at Sumunat. I told my therapist about a shoulder pain and she was really attentive to my areas of pain! Walked out feeling super relaxed. Would go back again :)
Just off Brick Lane is the unassuming Sumanat salon. With spa music and a warm, wooden ambience - it's only missing the smell of incense and a small temple to welcome you, just as you would expect in Thailand.
The therapy room itself was warm, clean and uncluttered. The massage table was wrapped in sarongs, which made me smile and continued to transport me back to my travels to the land of smiles.
I was looking for a massage that would be therapeutic for joint and connective tissue issues and I certainly found the healing hands I was looking for. It was a combination of massage and joint manipulation - as you'd expect with the more active Thai massage. I left feeling fantastic, with a plan for my aches and pains, and full intention to return.
