William is a great therapist, very polite, professional and friendly. Parking is a nightmare near my place so he was a bit late, but it wasn't a problem and he still gave me a full hour session. It was an excellent mix of lymphatic drain and Swedish massage, which made me feel fabulous afterwards. High recommended, especially at such a great price!
William came over to my place yest for a 1.5 hour thai yoga massage. my body was a complete wreck following a lot of spinning and a snowboarding trip, and he worked wonders. honestly fantastic massage. he communicated a lot as well to ensure the pressure was okay. will most definitely be booking this again,.
After the initial unease at discovering that this was in fact a home visiting service only, I decided to use that to my full advantage. There was no need to make my way to an unfamiliar venue & no time at all spent returning home after the treatment! Most mobile massage services charge a premium to visit clients at their preferred location - Park Clinic do not, so this was actually an amazing price. The therapist William was very polite and worked very hard. He certainly gave me my money's worth - a full 60-min treatment. I had a full-body Swedish massage and enjoyed that, particularly the head & feet massage which was fabulous. William brought lots of clean towels with him so I didn't have to use my own. He offered me an array of massage oils - I told him to chose one for me. The avocado oil he chose was lovely & the scent remained in the room for the next 24 hrs!
The venue description was very unclear. I thought the massage would take place at a hotel or Park Clinic, as a post code W8 6QL was given. However, after paying and submitting my appointment I was sent an email telling me that the therapist would have to come to my house, as it was "Mobile Services Only". My friend and I both thought that "Mobile Services" meant that one could book the services using mobile or apps or they do not have a landline, thus mobile communication only. I was later told by the therapist that they had financial issues with the venue, and they have since been unable to secure a venue. To be honest, we did wonder if the description "Mobile Services" was intentionally misleading. After all, why not just say "Home Visits Only"? That would be 100% clear from the start for the client.
The massage itself had to take place on my bed. Music was played from the therapist's mobile phone. Needless to say, it wasn't exactly ideal. The mattress was too soft and when the therapist pressed down on my spine, I didn't feel very confident that my body was supported adequately.
The therapist was friendly though and tried their best given the lack of facilities. The massage itself wasn't very deep tissue unfortunately, and I didn't get up feeling much different. I've had deep tissue massages elsewhere before, and usually after one I would feel a bit sore but very relieved.
Overall I would say it had been a somewhat strange experience. It is weird having a stranger on your bed (male therapist for the record). I didn't feel much relaxed afterwards and had to change my bedsheets and duvet cover etc after the massage for hygiene reasons. My honest feeling is that it is much better to have your massage at a professional venue where there is a massage table, relaxing music etc and walk away carefree. That way it is also much easier for the therapist to walk around you and use the correct force.
