Meet our senior physiotherapist Brittany. Since completing her MSc in Physiotherapy, Brittany has helped many clients become the best versions of themselves throughout their rehabilitation journey. With a BSc in Kinesiology, Brittany’s experience is vast. Before completing her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy, Brittany worked in her native Canada for several years as an Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist. Here, she specialised in sports rehabilitation for ice hockey, basketball, football, American football and lacrosse players. Brittany specialises in musculoskeletal injuries; whether you need rehabilitation for a strain or sprain, sports injury or surgery, Brittany is your go-to clinician! Ryan is our highly knowledgeable and experienced sports massage therapist. Since graduating from university, where he studied sports therapy and rehabilitation, he has worked with many clients, from white-collar boxers and paralympic martial artists to treating the runners at the London Marathon. As a former national level squash player and with experience working at various semi-professional football clubs and rehabilitation clinics, Ryan has a vast understanding of human bodily functions and heavily specialises in sports massage techniques to help alleviate tension in the muscles. Ryan is very personable and will focus on revitalising One Body LDN clients through various soft tissue mobilisation and injury rehab techniques. He tailors his sports massage to the client’s needs while working closely with the physiotherapists and osteopaths to ensure he treats all the necessary areas. Ryan plays semi-professional football throughout the week and trains in the gym, inspiring him to help clients on their fitness journey.

Alesia is a former professional dancer who has been performing for TV and production shows globally and competing at the international level. Some of her achievements are: Guinness World record (the longest time to hold the acrobatic position called “the sword” is 1 minute 24.62 seconds and was achieved on the set of Lo Show Dei Record) in Milan 2011, Winner of World Pole Sport and Fitness championship in Hungary 2012, Winner WFF Universe Championship, Couples Athletic in Vienna and Austria 2012. After having a successful career in dance and fitness industry, Alesia went to pursue a new career in rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping people in achieving their goals, educating them about their condition/injury and its self-management. As an athlete herself, she understands the frustrations someone can have when out of action but also understands how to train without getting injured. Since completing her MSc in Physiotherapy, Alesia has worked in the NHS and private sector helping many clients ranging from children to older adults. However, her true passion is to work with the active people enjoying sports. Alesia treats all manner of musculoskeletal injury, from neck and shoulder pain, lower back and hip problems. Her particular interest is in knee and foot injury rehabilitation which was influenced by her working with the Old Priorian RFC team. Knowing the value of injury prevention, Alesia has designed the ‘Flex & Fit’ flexibility programme for professional dancers and athletes, which she has been teaching for six years globally. She also worked for American company MightyGrip designing the protective garments for dancers. Her creativity has no limits, that is why the sessions with her are also fun and enjoyable. She is also very attentive to details related to client’s lifestyle and their health in general, providing professional support and building the best working relationship for better outcomes.
