Sarah F did a good job but I was annoyed that everything cost extra- to have a treatment added to the color to make it “better for my hair” was £40, to add toner was £20, to have 2 colors of highlighter (which I thought would be standard) was £20 so I ended up paying an extra £80. The place wasn’t very clean either- my hair brush was pulled out of a tray that looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in 2 years. Felt very crowded (and I was the first one there). I couldn’t tell what shampoo/other products were used but the serum used in my hair was a cheap one.

Would give a full five stars if not for the awkwardness about prices of Brazilian blow dry. I have short hair, to my collarbone short. I booked the treatment knowing that I qualified for Gusto’s £95 treatment price. It stated that if longer than SHOULDER BLADE length, additional charges would be incurred. So I knew I was safe when purchasing the cheapest option with my collarbone length hair. However when I got there I was told I would be charged an extra £20. I was very surprised and frustrated by this as I knew my length was within their requirements but no they weren’t going by that. I held my stance firmly and after a heated conversation they got fed up arguing and just did it. A slightly awkward 2.5 hrs sitting in the chair to say the least. I’ve been coming to Gusto for a year and a half for this treatment and hair cuts and the value for price has been hard to beat hence I’ve stayed loyal. I was particularly frustrated with my experience today because I have had the Brazilian blow dry before in Feb this year with the same length hair and paid the £95 price. I brought this up today and was told it doesn’t matter that’s almost a year ago.
All in all if you go in for the Brazilian blow dry treatment with hair longer than shoulder length expect to be charged an ADDITIONAL FEE. Could be more than £20 too, depends on your hair length, so really long hair expect more £££.
The experience was not so great but the final product turned out great so I can’t hold too much against them. Just be warned everyone!
