Possibly the worst hair appointment I have ever had. The hairdresser was rude and their attitude was poor. I felt apologetic throughout the entire thing for having the hair I have (which is only slightly longer and thicker than the average person). “Have you tried chemically straightening” - I actually like my curls and wanted the haircut to suit my hair type.
The hairdressers smoke directly outside the front door, so whenever there was a breeze it just smelt like cigarettes. There was a hairdresser drinking some wine next to me - meant for the clients - even though I wasn’t offered any kind of beverage.
The haircut itself was super basic and they did a rushed job - blow drying my hair straight and leaving split ends behind. I did not feel like they cared at all what they did - they just wanted me gone as soon as possible.
To be honest I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Would not recommend.

I have been visiting this salon for a long time and I have also been to Gusto’s Covent Garden salon which is also very nice. I like Gusto hairdressing as it has a relaxed vibe, the staff are friendly and it is kept clean. I really like that you can book online as it saves the hassle of phoning up and booking appointments on the phone. I like the hairdresser that I have and she always gives a great treatment, colouring, cut, fantastic blow-dry.
The only negative I would say is that I think the staff are overbooked which is not a fault of their own. They are never running on time, I don’t mind waiting but I am concerned that they do not get proper breaks and they work very hard.
There is one hairdresser who isn’t very nice, he’s always shouting at the receptionists in front of people which is embarrassing for both the staff and customers. He is very unprofessional but all of the other hairdressers are always pleasant and nice. It is a shame he ruins the atmosphere.
