Really good & efficient, happy with the style. However I was charged an additional £6 at payment for having “really long hair” even though it is barely to the middle of my back but I wasn’t going to argue the case

As relieved as I was to be able to get a haircut after the lockdown, I wish I never chose this place. Worst haircut I’ve ever had by far and a long time before it can be fixed.

Went to Gusto for the first time and was very pleased with the haircut and the blow dry. The stylist asked what I wanted and did a great job.
A hair mask treatment was part of the package that I booked but there was no explanation as to what effect the treatment will have, how it works, what it is etc. It seemed to have worked well though!
However, the atmosphere was extremely busy. I was hoping to relax while getting a little pampered and although I appreciate the place is very small and the first few days after reopening after the lockdown salons are super busy, I felt like throwing towels over me into the bin while I was sitting there with a hair mask was unnecessary. I do feel it may not be a usual occurrence so would come back to Gusto for another great haircut.

The whole experience was extremely rushed and social distancing wasn’t happening. I was expecting a proper cut but only received a trim, hair was blown dry with a messy parting, all a bit disappointing really. Though the place gets rave reviews snd they can’t all be wrong, so maybe they are just trying to take on too much right now given things have only just re-opened :)
