I booked myself in with Gusto Hairdressing because of the positive reviews on Treatwell, but I am afraid I was disappointed. Customer service - poor. Haircut - very mediocre (I didn't ask for anything complicated - a decent trim and layers - that should be pretty easy to do well!). I got my hair washed next a smelly rubbish bin on a hot day. My hairdresser was pleasant, but I was told that I was rather late by a grumpy girl running the place - admittedly I was 10 min late, still had to wait for a couple minutes upon arrival (previous customer wasn't done yet) so I don't think I caused a huge delay...and I am rather obviously pregnant on a hot day, so cut me some slack! Wouldn't bother going back, sorry.
I went there for wash, cut and treatment. I am regular office goer and don't really know about style. When the hairdresser asked me what style did I want, I just not knew what to say. And I Left all to the hairdresser. However I was scared, but it went all wow...My wife loved it when I reached home. It was lovely thanx Gusto!
Surely my best experience at a Hairdresser in London for now!
I got to the salon 1/2 hour early but Lavi was already here to welcome me and offering me a Diet Coke. We started to talk about the kind of ombre I wanted and he knew exactly what I was looking for - even said he had a vision haha! I completely trusted him and the result is completely astonishing! Lavi was really professional, kind and caring. I highly recommend Gusto Hairdressing and will probably go back myself ;-)
Positives: Good hair cut and decent highlights. Polite staff and interesting beverage options (soft drinks, beers, etc.)
Negatives: They were running 30 minutes late and the salon was over-crowded with customers so I had to wait on an uncomfortable high stool with no back support both before my appointment and whilst I was waiting for my highlights to take - so over an hour in total.
