Starting with the good; the location and the price. I had a half head with cut for around £60, which is great value. However, the overall experience reflected the price. This is a very small salon in Soho; don't expect a luxurious, relaxing environment as this is neither. I went on a Saturday morning which might explain why it was so busy. Alongside probably 3/4 regular members of staff, there were new stylists arriving to help out with clients who had literally never worked there before - they were being introduced to the salon and within minutes were attending to clients. Thankfully I didn't have one of those stylists, and wouldn't have been very happy if I had. The place was packed and the clients kept having to move chairs to accommodate new clients. The stylist I had was nice, but although his English was very good, I found it slightly difficult to communicate with him which made me a little nervous. I also felt he was quite hesitant in actually doing the highlights (he was doing them like he was still quite new to it). However, I have to confess I'm fairly pleased with the highlights in general and the blow dry itself was actually fantastic. So a mixed bag really. If you're a little tight on funds, then it may be worth a try. I saw someone having ombre dip-dyed hair done (by a blonde stylist) and it looked fantastic!
Lovely Spanish lady - didn't quite catch her name. She did a fantastic job, colour looks brilliant and cut and advice were very good. Will definitely be back!
I was very happy with my trim and blow dry. The South African Hairdresser was very nice. I also did not have to wait at all and we started at 5pm on the spot.
