Had my haircut done by John. I absolutely love it. Got myself a simple shoulder length cut from long hair. The haircut is done beautifully even after washing my hair, it looks very nice which was surprising coz i have really frizzy thick hair. Well done !

Brilliant experience. My hair looks great, the consultation was really good, i hadn't got much experience with colour before they helped me decide what would look best. I now have nice and natural highlights and kept all the length of my hair! Truly lovely, they took such care with my hair from the highlights to the brushing it out when it was wet and tangled. These guys know their stuff. great deal, added charge for the toner if you want that with the colour/highlights, but still a great deal for how long my hair is and how long it took (3 and half hours) and how amazing it looks.
The staff were nice, get you drinks and mags if you are there for a long time. I must admit I was a bit exhausted when I went having been busy at work, so it was a nice relaxing atmosphere to just indulge in some me time.

One of the best hairdresser experiences ever!
I usually get my hair cut when I go to visit my family in Portugal. However, I took a chance and decided, hesitantly, to get my hair cut in Gusto Hairdressing London. I found a good deal on Treatwell. It turns out, that was the best decision to have made!!
As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by a friendly assistant who took my friend's bag and jacket, as well as my own. Friendly atmosphere. We were offered something to drink and asked to wait for a short time whilst my hairdresser finished with his current client. I was already impressed with the way he was cutting hair - and he hadn't even starter on me yet.
A few minutes later Dean came over, introduced himself and off we went to let the magic begin.
He was so helpful and listened intently to what I wanted - he even explained what he was doing, to my friend - friend approval very important! We discussed my hair routine as well as ideas for how he could help me achieve my ideal look. As I wasn't quite sure about what I wanted from the final look, I found his input helpful yet not imposing.
Though I was the last appointment, he was attentive and careful - even though others around him were packing up. He reassured me that he wasn't going to rush and continued to cut my hair carefully.
He spoke genuinely and enthusiastically. His friendly manner allowed me to relax, and trust what he was doing. Some hairdressers can be very superficial but he was lovely!
I would highly recommend this place! I would highly recommend Dean! I'm glad I found this place on Treatwell - excellent value, excellent service, excellent hairdresser - something that's not easily found in central London! My hair felt fabulous - so did I!!
It's incredible the difference a genuine and skilled hairdresser can make.

After reading all those positive reviews, I decided to go and try Gusto's by myself. Gianni alias John was brilliant, he really listened to what I wanted and got it spot on. It's true that the place would do with some decor refreshing but what counts at the end of the day is the hair you leave with. Mine looks fabulous and I'm happy.
The only little thing I wish I have done is stopping John in his blow dry enthusiasm. I usually don't use hair dryer and, although I have to say, in fairness, it looked great, I left with very dry hair that tangled afterwards, which spoiled my joy a little bit. Anyway, I will return.
