Great value for money. Not sure if I actually received the oil treatment or not (was almost asleep after a long week haha!) 10 GPB extra for toner (which you kind of need with a highlight treatment). John (my stylist) did a great cut. I was worried about layers but they look great!
My appointment was delayed in 40 minutes. But the shampooing was great. The place is far too small. The staff was a bit moody. Nobody apologized for the delay.
I hate having my hair cut. Before today, I hadn't had it done professionally for probably over five years. It'd been ruined by a botch dip-dye job when I was sixteen and was waist-length but horribly unhealthy. I had to admit defeat and have a load chopped off and after telling Ionas to do what he thought was best, he gave me a lovely cut. My hair is now super soft and looks much better (although nowhere near as long as I want it to be... Please grow).
The place itself is lovely and staff very friendly. I arrived fifteen minutes early and was seen to before my allocated time. Ionas also offered me a drink and took my jacket. The customer service is really good, and the venue in a lovely spot.
If I ever pluck up the courage to get my hair cut again, I'll be returning to Gusto. My only regret is not having any cash on me for a tip (soz Ionas).
