Always amazing at gusto - it's definetely my favourite london salon! Can trust them to do a great job everytime for cut, colour and blowdry.

This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had in a salon. It was an early appointment and there was someone still cleaning the chairs, although the fumes from the potent cleanign agent made me feel ill, not a great first impression. From there a man with poor english asked if he could do my hair. He took me over to do the wash and was handed a towel that was from the guy who was cleaning the chairs! He was clearly very inexperienced and water rand down to my top and over my face. There was no conditioning treatment at all and when I asked they said yes they had put the conditioner in. Clearly not the same thing!
At this point I was feeling very uncomfortable and did not trust the expertise of the staff I had a lady ask what I wanted I explained that i just wanted simple layers and a trim. She then proceeded to roughly cut the length from my hair when it was wet, then dried it, and then messily cut different lengths into the front sections of my hair. It was the worst cut style and it was so awful seeing my hair being butchered like this. I now have different lengths of hair and the layers and blow dry was appauling.
I honestly advise that you think twice before booking as I severely regret my decision. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR .

I gave two stars only because the colour turned out fine - basically matched my roots to the rest of my brown hair, so it was ok. The experience, however, was utterly dismal. I showed up to a salon where 3 hairdressers were mid-way through each of their clients, and there was another girl waiting ahead of me, clearly disgruntled. By the time I sat down in the chair it was 25 minutes past my appointment time. The initial colourist was nice and seemed capable, and all went smoothly with her until she put me in the hands of another guy, who was clearly completely inexperienced. I left the salon with my hair still somewhat wet! He "blew dry" my hair by picking up some pieces and blowing them, until I finally asked him if he could use a brush so I could get a proper blow out. In the end, I left with hair looking like I blew it dry myself in 5 minutes. The ends were unfinished and there was no volume whatsoever. Worse still, I paid for a treatment and never got one. I didn't pay £50 for a single-process colour, sorry. I never got the treatment or blow out I paid for. Absolutely a disappointment.
