I have been to Gusto a few times and was initially very happy with my experience. I have had both half head and full head highlights which I was really happy with. Unfortunately I have found that the salon is disorganised and that some of the staff can be unfriendly. For my last appointment I had selected a specific stylist to do my hair as they had done a great job previously. However when I turned up to my appointment I was told that the person I had booked with wasn't working that day. I would have appreciated if the salon had let me know about this in advance so that I could have changed my appointment. Most recently I called the day before my appointment to double check the time. I was told that the stylist booked to do my hair was not going to be at the salon and that no other stylist was available at my appointment time but that they could squeeze me in two hours after my scheduled time. When I asked why they had not informed me about this, the response was simply "well, we are informing you now", and the tone of conversation made it seem to me like I had made the mistake.
I gave my stylist pics on an idea I had, but told her I completely trusted her opinion if she wanted to change or add something.. She added her own touch to what I wanted and Ive never had a better haircut in my life!!!
I went to Gusto Hairdressing for the first time because I wanted to cut a few inches of my long and damaged hair. John did the great job; I am so happy with the haircut he gave me; my hair looks so much better and softer. Everyone in the salon was super friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend for haircuts as it is great value for the price! Thank you.
