I enjoyed my visit to the salon but i think there's definitely room for improvement. If you are looking for a no frills but excellent cut and colour then it's worth a visit but if you'd like a pampering and luxurious experience then it's not the place to go. I was 5 minutes early to arrive for my appointment and i quickly sat down to wait. However, i wasn't acknowledged by anyone in the salon for almost 10 minutes before i took a seat. I booked in with Ionas so was surprised when a lady began to see to my hair and there wasn't any explanation as to why i didn't have the person i'd booked with. There wasn't any hair consultation at all, just simply what sort of colour i wanted so i was slightly apprehensive throughout the appointment as to what the finished result would be. The lady that did my hair was extremely friendly and did a great job and the blow dry was lovely. I was definitely pleasantly pleased with the final result but the overall customer experience and service could be improved.

The staff at Gusto were so welcoming, they really made me feel comfortable from the off. I usually hate the awkwardness of getting my hair done and dread sitting for hours with awkward chat, but Beatrice was so naturally personable and made me feel totally at ease, for me this is just as important as my hair cut/colour. She made great suggestions and although not my usual hair cut and style, I am loving the change. Thank you Beatrice, I will definitely be coming back! Plus I was offered a glass of wine when I came in, perfect!

Very impressed, best hair cut ive had in years, stylists are very knowledgable and professional. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the area, from my experience they are the same if not better than other salons that charge three times the price, truly hope hope this place is here to stay!

On arrival there was a long wait, which was fine/expected as it was a late evening appointment. But when I sat down for the cut I discovered it was not the stylist I'd booked. He didn't take any interest or make any suggestions for my style, so I asked for a straight shoulder length cut. I came out with a feathered layered cut, that felt thin and wispy at the ends. Not only was the style wrong but the cut was actually uneven and awful. I did email the salon after to advise my booking request was wrong but heard nothing back.

I got a full head of high lights, Beatriz did my hair and she was absolutely wonderful. The last hair dresser I went to was awful and made my hair patchy. Beatriz fixed up my colour and it's the best I've ever had. She was super friendly and it only took 2 hours which is quite quick for my hair! I would definitely go back and recommend her.
