I arrived 15minutes early for my appointment and they were able to see me earlier - which was great. I was asked what I would like to drink and asked for some water - which never showed up - in fairness, I wasn't too fussed so didn't chase. The wash was ok, I like having a little massage and didn't get that so was a little disappointed. The cut was good. The stylist, Bita, wasn't the most chatty but that suited me fine - it was a Friday evening after a long week at work. The only issue I had was how painful the blow-dry was. My hair hurt so much I kept pulling away and at one point, just wanted to stop and take a break. It all looked good in the end but during it, it was really sore and my hair was burning hot - which isn't great.
The staff were very friendly. This was my first visit to Gusto, and I really wanted to change my look. The stylist I had was great, he knew exactly what was right for me, and I walked out with amazing new hair. Will definitely visit again!
Amazing as always. Ionas is a brilliant hairdresser and really knows hair. I came in for a radical change, with very long hair and wanting a very short pixie cut. I also wanted to give my hair to charity. He knew what to do, cutting and neatly preparing the ponytails so I could take them away with me. Excellent. Will be back of course
Emile was great. Just got in with it and didn't bore me with mindless chatter
some of staff were incredibly friendly, some were not very chatty and looked a bit miserable. They sat me down and we discussed exactly what I wanted and spent their time on the hair treatment. However, my hair did end up a lot shorter than I wanted and expected, but the cut was a very high quality - hair will grow back. It was a nice touch as well that they offered complimentary drinks; red wine, white wine and tea or water.
