The experience didn't start well, as I had booked in for the wrong-length haircut (the instructions online said shoulder-blade for medium length hair, whilst the salon asked for shoulder). This would have been fine, and I was happy to pay the difference, until the hairdresser made a flippant, and frankly rude, comment about "every woman should know what medium length hair means". I was not impressed, and thankfully got passed over to a colleague. Even with a fresh start, I did not feel at all comfortable. Despite knowing exactly how I wanted my haircut, I felt challenged by the hairdresser. The point at which I was told "I could recommend a shampoo for your frizzy hair, but you probably wouldn't listen to me" was the point at which I decided I should share such awful customer service! Thankfully I ended up with a haircut I was pleased with, but it was not worth such a stressful experience.
