Hairstylist was quite rude and didn't do what I asked for, generally poor service

I have never had a bad cut from Gusto and so would always choose them first. However this time (while I still love the cut and colour) I did find it wasn't quite as enjoyable as usual. I totally understand that everyone was running behind and it was Christmas party day, not a problem to be speedy but Yiannis, although very friendly and sweet, didn't brush my hair before he started to colour so he did need to yank out the hair to separate the chunks to colour. He did tell me to say if he was pulling, so probably I should have, but I don't like making a fuss and usually I don't find hair-pulling very painful so I sat through it... Wash and cut absolutely fine if brisk and then the hairdryer was also a bit hot. Yiannis noticed this after seeing me wince and again said I should tell him if too hot but I was surprised he was using it that close to my head on full setting, as a hairdresser I would expect him to know it was too hot! I wasn't too sure about the blow dry which
was a lot bigger than I initially expected (my hair is naturally big so not that fussed about volume!) but he didn't ask what I wanted in terms of style. In any case it fell out very quickly as he didn't spray it. I guess it would be great if it was on the right hair! Overall I think he was rushing a bit, I love my hair now and will definitely stay with Gusto but I might not go with the same hairdresser again as I did walk away with a headache... However, as always great studio, warm and friendly, lovely and welcoming, great price and great cut.

This is the second time I have visited gusto for the highlights, cut and blow-dry and again was really happy with the result. My hairdresser gave a detailed consultation and took a lot of time on the blow dry, styling and curling it. The colour looks very natural and the cut is great. Excellent value for money and way better results than a chain like Tony and guy. Will be visiting again.
