Excellent hair cut, very professional!
Great as always
Overall, my experience was OK. My hairdresser was lovely however, one of the male members of staff told her she was applying the treatment wrong which was concerning when you're simply sitting there trusting that everyone knows what they're doing! The treatment itself isn't as good as past treatments I've had; it did feel rushed when I was there so I don't know if that could be why.
Great location, very good customer service, the hairdresser was very kind and happy to advise on cuts and colouring options. However, they used poor quality products for my scalp, which became itchy and had dandruff by the time I arrived home (I usually don't have this issue).
The service provided was fine; exactly what it said on the tin although I didn't get the hair mask treatment. The price was great for central London and the complimentary welcome wine and popcorn was a nice touch. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return as the staff member I dealt with made me feel uncomfortable. They openly told me they didn't like my hair colour and pointed out several reasons why they felt the last stylist who'd done my hair had done a poor job. It was quite embarrassing for me; I've never had a hairdresser openly say they didn't like my hair or criticise another professional's work. I tried to take their feedback on board and we discussed opinions before they reeled off their experience and sarcastically added that perhaps I knew best. Later on, they did apologise if they'd caused any offence but it was quite humiliating at the time.p The same staff member also enquired about my partner and his background during small talk. My response confirmed we're of different ethnic backgrounds and the stylist asked what my parents thought about it before stating that their own parents wouldn't be happy if they brought a black man home. Again, it was quite humiliating to hear and made me feel uncomfortable.
