I had an ok experience at Gusto. The staff were very friendly. I think the reason why I can’t give a better score is because I left feeling a little rushed and as if I had a half finished haircut. This could be on me. Perhaps I didn’t communicate clearly what I wanted. However, I don’t think there’s a whole lot that can be done in 45 minutes. I think this is a great place to go if you’re looking for a trim, but if you want something more complicated/creative you might want to go somewhere else.
I had great reviews for the stylist that previously cut my hair. However the stylist was no longer at this salon. I decided to give a go again due to price and time. Unfortunately, this time it didn’t live up to my expectation. The stylist was very nice, but we had a bit of a communication issue. Therefore, I did not get the cut I wanted. The cut seemed rushed and it was not up to the standard as my previous visit. Although he did a good job with the blow dry it didn’t make up for the cut itself. I will have to say based on this experience I will not come back to the salon.
The staff are all lovely, made me feel very welcome.
The space is a bit cramped. The chairs are all too close to each other so on several occasions I had to turn my chair to accommodate all the hairdressers working.
It's also not the cleanest place I've been to either.
