Overall experience of me at Gusto is good. Staff listened to my request well and do it decently. The only problem i had is about the cleanliness of the brushes used...

Great haircut with Joseph. He really listened to what I wanted, advised according to my hair type, and gave me a cut which was exactly what I wanted and more. Highly recommend.

The salon was very chaotic. I had my hair washed very promptly, but the area around the chair they asked me to sit in whilst the conditioning treatment was left in was very untidy and all the scissors and hairbrushes on the shelf were still full of hair from the last client. The lady who cut my hair didn't introduce herself to me, she just asked what I wanted done - I told her what I wanted but I don't think she particularly listened, I wanted a long side fringe which so she said she would start by cutting a really long fringe and then work up until I was happy with the length, however she just went for it and my fringe is much shorter than I wanted. I was not offer a drink by anyone even though other customers were being offered drinks and popcorn. In addition, I had to pay an extra few pounds because my hair is long and therefore needs more time to be cut - but I was only there for 45minutes instead of an hour which was the stated time for long hair. Perhaps it was a bad decision to go to the salon on a Saturday afternoon, but I didn't enjoy the experience at all and I'm not particularly happy with my hair cut.

It was the first time I ever felt a hairdresser listened to what I wanted to do and did exactly that! I left extremely pleased with my haircut and will definitely go again!
