I went in for a full head of highlights but the hairdresser didn't dye down as far as my root so my natural hair colour is still very evident and I'll have to get my hair done again in a few weeks. Very disappointed.
I’ve been here a few times before as the location and price are fabulous. However on this occasion I wasn’t very happy. The appointment didn’t start until 30minutes after I arrived, and there was no apology for the delay.
The hairdresser was a lovely lady, but language barriers inhibited the experience as we were both getting frustrated trying to figure out what the other one wanted. She didn’t understand my voucher - saying it was £15 extra for toner and no cut included, whereas my friend who was getting the exact same treatment at the same time, with the same voucher - somehow had it all included? Just a very confusing and stressful situation.
The lady doing my hair was pleasant and considerate. I was happy with the outcome. The overall experience however could be improved.
I think the salon is quite understaffed which adds stress to all involved. This should not be a reflection on the quality of work completed by the staff themselves.
I was really nervous about getting my hair cut because it's really long with a wave, and so many hairdressers haven't understood it. She not only did what I wanted, but made suggestions on things that would be better for my hair and focused on things being manageable after. I will definitely be back.
