This wax was okay, it was pain free but I noticed, once I got home, that she didn't remove all the hair underneath which is annoying.
But for what I paid it was good.
I had a mixture of an experience. I was greeted nice enough, but it lacked the finesse of a high standard hairdressers, such as tea or coffee, asking to take my coat etc.
I have an incredibly unusual hair colour (unicorn as I have been told many times) and was skeptical that they would be able to match my roots, but the end result looked very good, it was just the process to get there that was shocking. The bleaching of the roots was fine, a little itchiness but that was expected. When it came to the toner, it was one of the most shockingly painful experiences and my scalp is still recovering. It burned immensely and the other staff were having to fan me whilst I sat there in pain. When she finally washed it out (after me asking several times) I finally had some relief.
Another disappointing aspect to my experience was that all the staff kept switching languages. It made it difficult for me to tell when I was being spoken to and when I wasn't.
The blow dry was pleasant, and the cut okay. I did ask for a lot of layers, but I feel she didn't have much time because she rushed through the cut and I didn't get any layers.
Good value for money... cheap but rushed.
Overall I have awarded the place 2 stars out of 5.
