Wax was applied to broad areas and had cooled/ was less pliable before the hair could be removed from some of that areas. This meant wax was pulled out with hair and the top epidermal layer of skin. This left me severely bruised. Bruising was quite deep and some parts started to bleed. I’ve had waxed done here before (full body) and this never previously happened.
Suffice to say, I will not be attending again and would not recommend it.
I recommend the waxers only apply strip wax they’ll expect to remove within the minute and not a few minutes later. Slow down - sometimes this is the safer thing to do. There is a fine balance between speed and doing actual harm.
